This wedding is actually a wedding of my best friend, Li Ting's elder sister, Li May's wedding. Very far related... *laughs* Met 1 of my secondary school friend also within our cliche, Gek Hui, at my place before we proceed there together by BUS. As Ting is very busy we only manage to capture a few picutures together. Our table mates were us, Gek Hui, 3 of Li TIng's other friends and 4 secondary school senior (USSS). When i first saw them at the table, i only find them familiar but could not recall where exactly and when i seen them before? So Gek Hui ask me to check with them if they're Li Ting's friends or Li May's friends and if they're from the same batch of students as us... And to my surprise they replied.. Ur 'Clara' right?We're of course from USSS not the same batch. Immediately, Gek Hui and i had some eye contact and knew the 4 people are from my ex-boyfriend's class (classmates). I have to say at that point of time at that time i have become a little famous in school.. Having a head-prefect boyfriend..maybe certain mayu understand la.. *smiles*



En En and Daddy, of course, did not miss the chance to snap a few pictures at the lobby with the christmas tree. *laughs* and the reindeer... Pretty??

Swimming 20 Dec 08

Brought En En swimming at Ling's place... Was thinking its a great day to go swimming on such a sunny hot day. But when i place her into the pool it was so very cold...so i thought i shall leave her inside the pool for about 1/2 an hour then bring her up to bathe, just like usual seeing her have so much fun... When i went back to prepare her clothes for change and bathtub, Daddy brought her up and her lips were purple already.. She must be feeling really cold in the pool. An advice to all parents "whether or not to lesve them in the pool for a minimum time of up to 1/2 an hour depends fully on the child and the pool temperature so she/he does not catch a cold and turn all purple" !! Daddy bathe her and i get her change...rubbing plentiful of RU YI OIL over her body to warm her up and hugging her close to me. Make her perspire and then have some BA BAO SAN and she's fine... Peh Ling JieJie 1st Baby...!!!

Alike to the rashes that i had during my confinement, Ling had them on her body. All over her body...come to think of it now, it really brings up the goosebumps and shivers. She has to go through the itching and then see doctor to finally knew that it was what called in short form, PUPP (as it has a rally difficult and long name the doctor and gynae only told us this) which some mothers whom is pregnant with the 1st child and will contract this rash like the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. I don't know if i should say that she's lucky or unlucky to get them like when she's just 2weeks away from the date of epected delivery. While some mothers got those like when they were 7months pregnant. Or im even more fortunate to got them after giving birth and during confinement when its the time to consume all sorts of tonic but because of this rash, i had to cut down or the doctor even persuade me to stop. I even had my shower. The chinese traditional was said not to... But having this rashes i have to bathe everyday with the shower gel that was given to me by the doctor. Soon it was better however there was a black stain like it was being tattoo onto my body...It looks really scary having this stain on your thigh, arms, tummy area and even ur breast area.

I've overcome it and am better now that i don't look like i've beeen stained!! Of course i didn't use the DYNAMO or BLEACH or VANISH POWER O2... Please do not ever try all means to remove the stain... Mine just got better and vanish by itself. It just need time...

OK... Back to subject... MAYA/HEIDI ...??? What shall your mummy and daddy name you?? Baby... I fed u milk, of course on the breast, on the 14 Dec 08 for just 1 feed. Though it was just a feed but you have help to bring back the memories when i fed En En after she was born and go through what your mummy is going through now. Not easy for your daddy as well. I was really happy when i was feeding you, i wasn't afraid that you will not want to latch onto your mummy's breast. It was your mummy instinct that tell her that you will not behave that way so she decided to let you have my milk so you'll be full and warm to go to bed. Mummy's instinct is very strong and right 95% most of the time. Because i have sufficient milk that my breast milk started flowing like when im 7months pregnant so En En never had this problem with insifficient milk. Your mummy is facing a very big challenge as she really wants to try total breast feeding you but she's afraid she's not having enough, when she's tense the milk she produce will not be sufficient and your not drinking enough. Im encouraging her a lot.. Kept telling her don't worry... relax and feed you... She's having enough milk and milk will come in very soon as long as you're latch onto then she sounded relieve as she smiled though she is really tired...Having to wake up so often to feed you. It just the beginning, when milk suddenly came too much at the time, she still did not want to give up on feeding you, i can know it from the way she speaks... So i told her my ways of solving away the engorge breast. This is the time she feels very bad...

I hope she can last you for at least 6months and carry on for as long as possible...!! Jia You!! Kempetai !!

Busy...Busy...Busy...!!

Haiz... So busy that i finally manage to find some time to put it down into history... Hahaha... Monday is a holiday!! So what...?? Same rountine everyday... Ling JieJie giving birth soon.. 'I' am looking forward...!! Can't wait to see baby looks, her small and tiny fragile fingers and toes!! I told her to feel the baby the very moment she gives birth as its really rare and important and it feels really good thou with the slimy stuff around... I just love the feeling of it! Obviously i mean feeling the baby NOT the slimy stuff around her! Hahaha... She's down with much much rash all over her body just like when i had them after i give birth during my confinement!! Im like... i can feel it over my body once again... So poor thing.. it really is very itchy!! Espcially during the MARCH (Sunny days) and eating confinement food (HEATY) and there's itch... Woah man... Dun feel like giving birth anymore...
Sometimes I wonder why didn't they look just as anxious and worry as now to before when i had them ...?? *thinking hard* I wonder why didn't they feel the importance of sufficient resting for a woman who has just given birth to, during confinement and having to do simple chores like bathing the child?? *thinking really hard*

BUT i've learn the everything i need to..so far so good!! Im a wonderful mum...!! Pass!

Naughty & Cheeky Lil' En En

Papa is back from his trip and guess what...En En ignored him for like 15mins and more. I think she's just really angry with him that he did not play and bring her along with him. When Papa asked En En to look at him, she did not or dare not look into Papa's eyes instead she look down and turn her pupils around. Just trying to show her annoyance and ignorance...When Papa try to feed her something she even rejected him and said 'No Want!' walking away form him. Haha... Just when she found a pair of Papa's sunglasses lying around, she came directly to me asking for my help to wear the sunglasses. Then when she's done wearing...she shouted 'Papa,look!Look!' and she forgotten that she's still suppose to be angry with him.

Papa On Training

Papa is on a training, at K.L for 4days. On the night Papa left, En En kept asking "Where's Papa?" and even shouted "Papa!" when she wanted to show her acts and discoveries.. Kinda sad... During her sleep, she usually wants to sleep near her Papa so she manage to kick 2 big boister down the bed and cried for Papa. The next day she wakes up asking the very same question as usually she expects her Mama & Papa to kiss her on her cheeks and she knows her Papa will wake up later than her... 

2nd Day,

We went to Tangkak, Malaysia with my in-laws for food and fun. When she was really fascinated and excited about her discovery, she called 'Papa!' when she's facing her 'NaiNai'. I guess she really miss her Papa very much. 

3rd Day,

We had our breakfast then proceed to my mummy's place. Manage to chat with Papa at night then had a short videocall with him. When En En sees Papa through the laptop screen, she was really excited!! She kept touching her Papa's face on the screen and shouting Papa... She even waved her Papa 'Hello!' though her Papa couldn't see her do the action. When she heard her Papa sneeze, she said 'Wah! Papa hah-choo~!' and began laughing and pointing to her aunts to show off her Papa. 

4th Day,

I went for a knitting lesson. Starters can only learn how to make simple stuff like scarf and i did a practice or knit and perl. My 1st scarf i made it in off-white colour, something like cream colour. It really nice...!!! As this is the last day of the course so Papa need to pay full attention...so i can't chat with him till he's free to... And En En still calls for the wrong person! En En misses her dad so much that when she cry... she cry till so pitiful like nobody is there for her... 

2nd Mobile Accessory

I manage to go Far East, Beads Passion to buy some bead materials for making the 2nd mobile accessory for my aunt... Its pretty and simple... Bought a transparent snowflake, size like a $0.50 coin.

Bought some other materials for a really cute accessory...A pacifier!!! Its really easy... I think i just love handicrafts...!! As there's a part of the pacifier that the shop doesn't have in stock so i can't manage to finish the accessory.. hopefully the transparent ring material will arrive soon!!

I.K.E.A

Together with Ling, we went to IKEA to get some KOMPLEMENT boxes... When kids see the children's section.. Be it children's room or what-so-ever... They can stay still there and not go anywhere else... And that's what happened to my daughter... After playing there for 45minutes, she still refuse to stand up from the rocking horse.

So Papa dress her up and ask her to show Mama, GuGu and NaiNai... How pretty and cute she is... See for yourselves...

When its time to go... at the cashier, we took her hat and gloves off... She saw the top of the hat was strawberries and 3 candles similar to a birthday cake... So she began to sing 'Happy Birthday to you' ... this is my EN EN !!

Handmade Craft...

Use to make accessories for my family members in the past... Be it earrings, bracelets or mobile accessories... Im good at handicrafts... HAND-MADE !!

Since i got pregnant, i stopped till recently i got back into it... Making myself a mobile accessory. Went out with Yi Lei (BFF), Brandon (BFF brother) and her mum as a gathering... Its been long since.... ... So on the way bought some materials for the accessory...

1) A swavaroski crystal chain (925 Silver)

2) A white mirror

3) 1 pack of plain rhinestone crystal

4) 1 pack of light rose rhinestone crystal

5) GEM Glue

Basically, just put the stuff together and ta... da.. Done!! This is just 1/2 way through... As you can see the back of the mirror is rather plain... I think of sticking the rhinestone crystals on the back of the mirror into my desired design... Or just a simply stick on the circumference of the mirror... Some of which designs i look through online...

Trip to Hay Dairies (Goat Farm)

Date: 19 October 08

Brought my brother, Mum and daughter to the Goat Farm. 1st visit there... Of course, my husband is the driver. Manage to find the place after 5minutes of round-about turns...

My daughter 1st response to the sight of the goats was 'Mama, dog!' and i replied 'No!'. So she said 'Mama, horse!' then i said 'No! Goat.' When she was going to say 'Goat' , she heard 'Meh~' and she said 'Mama, meh meh' *laughs* This is how innocent children are... Wanted my daughter to have some good childhood memories.. Not when teacher ask, she reply 'Computers & PSP' nowadays which child doesn't respond this way...

Fed the goats and bought some bottles of goat milk back for the family...

Specially for my cousins and daughter...


Taste really yummy.. Manage to finish all the 4 bowls. As it's my 1st time making this dish, so i only made a little... Just for taste!!


Its rather simple coz i bought the Del Monte(Kraft) Macaroni Cheese that comes in a box with everything that you need. So i added a little honey baked ham so it doesn't look dull (colour). Also, i use the macaroni i bought somewhere else as i feel that the texture of the macaroni provided would not taste as good. Some may use alphabetic pasta to make the dish more interesting to a child.

With an extra piece of cheese on top of the macaroni cheese then get it to toast.... Some who prefer cheesy taste will like it more...



This one is with 2 pieces of cheese... Crystal love this more than the one above.

After her 18mth jab

*laughs*

When the doctor, Dr Neo from the clinic gave you the jab, En En wanted so much to slap her. I guess she's so angry that she had made her feel so painful En En has never experience before. I tried to distract her away but when Dr Neo had clean the area on En En's lap with the alcohol wipes, En En looked straight at the injection stringe that was prepared away from her moments ago.

So i had to hold her head and arms tight enough so she wouldn't touch or move vigorously. Despite all the efforts i had put into distracting her away, she moved her legs slightly causing the needle to be pushed out from her thigh when 1/2 the stringe of injection hasn't been injected. So Dr Neo informed me that the point for which the injection is suppose to look like will not be a point as En En moves and she had to finish injecting, she had to just pierce in from where it came out from. This moment, En En raise her other hand that was freed to slap Dr Neo but unsuccessful as she had finish the jab.

Then Dr Neo handed her a star-shaped vitamin tablet and her immediate action was to take the "SWEET" and start sucking on it... Creating the 'zhuk zhuk' noise!!

Luckily she's a strong girl... Having to walk like a cripple for about 2 days, she manage to forget the incident fast enough after the sweet. *laughs* She didn't get any fever or cough or flu after the injection. This shall be the last jab for her before she needs the chicken pox or the Primary 1 jab.... She definitely looks fine to us....

- Shao*EN EN* - 18mth jab

The night before meaning last night... I (how should i spell it??) - steam the PAO SHEN with the rice water(from rice cooker, of course) before the rice is fully cooked. Is this double-boil or steam or ...?? What is the term?? *laughs* neeed for my grandma to specify this termm...As En En is going to have her 18months jab tomorrow... Im abit worried about it... usually children that have these jabs before they turn 2yrs old and 8 out of 10 children will fall sick after which... So as old wives tales... chinese medical point of understanding., a child would feel better after the jab if only is given this PAO SHEN drink as made 1 night before the jab the next morning.

Im so worried... If EN EN would feel sick after which coz' i can never help her with the jabs and medication and illness just hoping by giving her the medication could ease the pain and illness that she's facing.... TOMORROW!!!! IS THE DAY!!!

AAAAhhhhhhhhh........!! *sniff*

Jacelyn's Wedding Lunch

Nowadays, most couples like a more simplified wedding just holding a wedding lunch instead of a dinner. Much reasons to consider before people decide to hold a wedding dinner...its really tiring though there's still fun and entertainment from which.... *smiles*



Attended my cousin, Jacelyn & Gary's wedding lunch with my family.... Here's are so enjoyment we had by ourselves.... *laughs*

Our theme for today should well be, 12 Lotus. As you can see in the pictures, we have the "LIANs" & "HUAs"... *laughs* Who will bring the "LIAN HUA" trophy home???

Emily's Wedding (Zhuang Friend)

Went for a manicure service from a very pro friend, Deniz Li. He did my nails fooorr...

1) When i need my wedding photo shoot... my favourite colour, Red with some crystals design on them

2) When its my wedding day... Princessy version, Pink with beads and crystals and there's 1 finger of which the whole finger nail is being covered with pink crystals design makes people salivate and compliment on them.

3) Ling's Wedding... Just highlighted the finger nail tips.. Silver ONLY!! Simple but it makes people notice 'Bling Bling' under the lights and even without

4) Emily Wedding... Silver with Princess crystals style on them.. 

I even have my nails done by him to be taken... Be remembered for as he's hardly and rare to be doing any service for people. Very tiring and he's a educator on nail services now be it any kind. You name it and he'll knows it !! Was looking forward to this wedding dinner since its a very long time i ever attended one... Since my wedding... *laughs*

My daughter and me, both dressed in black and white colour. I think i do look slim enough and am slim thou. Coz En En lost her 1 side of her white shoe while at Genting, she doesn't have a pair of matching shoes for the dress that she'll be wearing for that night. End up having to wear a pair of white and pink shoes... *laughs* i guess any colours that a child wears does look good and cute on her or him. We took our family photo... Nice???   

After the dinner, my daughter is still having as much fun... with the foam mats which i've lay on my room flooring just in case she falls and bump her head or anywhere of her body.

Went to YiLei's place

Went to visit my B.F (best friend), Yi Lei and her family. Since it was too long ago i last seen them... *laughs* no time... had to work and then need to look after En En after work, weekends had to visit my mum so.... ( I had my many reasons lar...) after all....

I went to Genting Highlands... So i bought 1.3kg of Famous Amos cookies back... It is really rasonable to have them there, much bigger in size and cost much cheaper than back in S'pore. For my own consumption:
500g - No nut; Chocolate Chip
300g - Macadamia Nut; Chocolate Chip

For Yi Lei:
500g - No nut; Chocolate Chip

That's too much my Mum says. But i replied her " It would be gone in a weeks' time and have sore-throat." *laughs* So i made myself desert to 'BU' (tonic) my throat..
White Fungus + Red Dates + Longans(Dried) + Rock Sugar = Potion (waited for 1hr) Of course before this i had to soak the white fungus overnight so it will be soft enough for superb consumption.

En En had a great time at Yi Lei's place. Ran about in their corridor with Yi Lei's bro (Brandon) and her neighbour's children ( 2 elder sisters). Scream and played her heart out with them... If i had my very own house, she would be able to have all the space to herself and her siblings to play all they want to. (Better not think too much... Giving myself too much of false hopes!!

My Birthday Gift....

*smiles* Daddy brought me to get a new pair of spectacles. Something RED... Something different from my usual choice. Look different...

Then, i went for a brand new hairstyle which i intend to keep as a something from my family till i see them during the weekends. Maybe they'll be surprise... *laughs* i shall keep them in suspense till then.... I have my hair permed before and straightened after the ends are no longer wavy anymore. Daddy says i look nice in my new look...

2 AUGUST 2008

Sunny. MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Its suppose to be a planned picnic day for the whole family at East Coast since the last time our family had a gathering by the beach was like 4yrs ago. But it had to be cancelled because i rather be kinda superstitious than regret for life. ITS 7th month (HUNGRY GHOST FESTIVAL).

I manage to celebrate my birthday at home, having my grandma prepare the foods. Today, she celebrated her birthday in advance as her birthday will fall on a weekday and her children (my aunts and uncle) might not be able to make it back for dinner. Hence, we'll be celebrating hers and my birthday together. Also, we'll be doing the prayers for the 7th month to pray for the safety of the family.

Everyone seems to have very much fun... and enjoyment of the dishes prepared by my GRANDMA, all by herself!!! She prepared about 9 dishes. I took a picture of some stuff which she has already whipped out. She's been busy the whole day since morning to the market to get fresh foods for the dinner and started preparing since then till evening. Its really not easy...!! Having to whip out something which the family loves to eat...

These are mini abalone... Really yummy...!! To go with some vegetables.

She braise the duck and boiled 2 chickens. A dish which everyone in the family loves her to whip.
